Anonymity

Communication without revealing your identity

In Short

The state of being unidentifiable - communicating without revealing who you are to other parties or observers.

Explained

True anonymity means no link can be established between a communication and the person who sent it. This differs from privacy (hiding content) and pseudonymity (using a consistent fake name). Anonymity protects against identification even by sophisticated adversaries.

How zkChat Implements This

zkChat enables anonymous communication by requiring no accounts, no phone numbers, and no identifying information. We don't log IP addresses. Users can share room links through any anonymous channel. There's no user identity to compromise.
